The Serbian Orthodox Church is the autocephalous Orthodox Church of the Serbian people, granted autocephaly through St Sava in 1219 and raised to a patriarchate at Peć in 1346. Its primate is the Serbian Patriarch, seated in Belgrade. In North America its parishes are organised into several dioceses.
