The Polish Orthodox Church (the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Poland) traces its modern autocephaly to 1924. Its primate bears the title Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland. Having adopted the New Calendar in 1924, its Holy Council repealed that decree in 2014 and returned to the Old (Julian) Calendar, with New-style parishes permitted by indult.
