Thou wast shown to be mighty and manly in suffering and all-wondrous in miracles,
and, manifestly bearing forth the name of Christ, thou didst put the tyrant to shame,
Wherefore, we honor thee, O most-honored Basiliscus, ever crying:
Rejoice, O splendid adornment of martyrs!
