The Holy Apostle and Evangelist Mark

Receiving from on high the grace of the Spirit,
thou didst destroy the snares of the orators, O apostle,
and, hunting all the nations,
thou didst lead them to thy Master,
O most glorious Mark,
preaching the divine Gospel.
